What inspired you to get into music?
Music in itself and studying poetry and song lyrics in my room as a kid.
How would you describe your music?
A reflection of where I was at or my view on the world when I was writing. Honest, emotive, and increasingly vulnerable with each song!
What would you say is your recording and songwriting style?
It varies! I am not a particularly methodical person. I tend to flow in my feelings quite a bit. (If you’re into astrology, I’d like to thank my Pisces moon for all the feels. lol) I record vocals on the days I feel most connected and balanced in my body and I tend to write when I feel out of control. It’s all therapy for me!
Where would you like to see your music career in 5 years’ time?
I would like to see my career sustaining a healthy life-style (lavish, not needed!) and just being able to continuously create and release the art I make with the people I love. I would like to see my music lending to others’ stories and art as well; film, television, dance, etc. I want to be traveling and seeing the world, performing with my friends, and helping my friends and family that have supported me in various ways, achieve some of THEIR dreams.
