Anthony Williams drops brand new single ‘Empty’

Born and raised in London, Anthony Williams is an aspiring British-Filipino HipHop artist with a unique sound and style. With major releases like ‘Loyalty’, ‘Long Way’ and ‘Always,’ his music has touched listeners with heartfelt renditions of realness and emotions across his powerful lyrical melodies.

Have you ever been in a hard place? Well, Anthony Willams’s new single ‘Empty’ brings you a flow that starts with a traditional old skool original style, and then, the next verse shows you why a relationship with Christ will never let your cup run dry. The flow is amazing and whoever says gospel rap isn’t mainstream will lose their minds when they hear the beat and delivery which will be a head mover at any stadium concert.  There is a fine line between lyrical ability and poetic stamina. Anthony definitely blurs that line as he is gifted on both sides.

This single “Empty” is not what you would expect from your typical hiphop song. It’s better. The music bed is haunting as if to create a narrative of rising from the darkness. Light and success are attainable, the listener feels as if they were racing and chasing down the dream. The tone is heavy, but not oppressive. The music hovers, with crisp movement, gravitating towards the vocals and bass. A presumed organ electrifies, shifting some of the focus to its slightly unique sonic push.  With artists like Ye and DJ Khaled’s recently released album, ‘God Did’ putting God at the forefront of music. Anthony’s  Empty comes at the right time as the audience has gone through a transitional two-year period and they are ready for the sermon if the rapper is ready to preach.
