Neoborn Caveman makes music to bring people together and show that we can get through all the grief and hardships together leading by selfless examples and by getting to know others. Perfect! The songs are generally based on his journey of self-recovery, overcoming abuses and neglect, changing the negative energy into positive re-creation through art. Echoes of Life is the brand new single for Neoborn Caveman and it really serves as a perfect template on what to expect from his music. The track is both thought provoking and inspiring. The production is absolutely spot on and the writing showcases a talent that fits perfectly to the current global climate. We decided to catch up with Neoborn Caveman for an interview to delve into the man behind the music..
What inspired you to get into music?
Actually, I have always felt the music was in me, and I did like the experimental years with guitar-sawing sounds and punching cushions… 🙂 But it took a longer time to see myself there where my heroes were. When I understood, the job “Bon Jovi” was taken, it was easier. The more serious answer is, that I wanted to help people as music helped me in my formative years, I said, if I could save only one person with my art then it would be worthy. And it happened.
How would you describe your music?
Eclectic.I like playing around and with different genres. I have never believed in nor accepted any borders – and it’s equally true for life and music, too.Honest, sincere.Everything I write about is true. It might be an event or a thought, an intriguing question – everything is real.
What would you say is your recording and song writing style?
It is always changing. Personally, I love being inspired and when my heart, mind, soul and body aligned I feel God and/or the spirit world helps me. It happened that I was walking with my baby in my arms when “12 Ways of Love”, my upcoming summer single, probably the only truly happy and joyous song I’ve ever written, became one with me. Other times I’m putting the poems and lyrics together, mixing them and rarely I improvise and turns out to be a good thing. As for the music, I need to be aware of my health and times with that, so, I need to be efficient. I silence myself and try to find the inner truth and harmony, resonance.
Where would you like to see your music career in 5 years time?
In a meadow, no electricity, no sound system just the natural voices and sounds together with the people around. In a completely tranquil unity. And the most probable reality is, on a larger world tour with some great talents as guests and meeting and talking with the fans and listen to their stories. Because that’s where everything begins.
Where can music fans listen to your music?
Right now the first few singles of the upcoming “The Break-up Therapy” album are available literally everywhere: Spotify, AppleMusic, YouTube, Tidal, Deezer you name it. If you find the right cricket in Africa, even that will play them.On the other hand, on my Twitter . You’ll find some thoughts and the latest news; and to be honest, behind the scenes truly unique and experimental things are at work.
